While she\u2019s forged a phenomenal career in these disciplines, her talents transcend the ring, excelling in other sports such as Savate, La Croche and Taekwondo.  <\/p>\n\n<p>In 2003, Ranini started training under Patrick Cundasawmy, her mentor who would later go on to become her husband. Over the years, Ranini\u2019s combat sports skills began to shine on the international stage, earning the prestigious title of Muay Thai world champion an impressive four times. She also conquered the challenging and demanding world of Cambodian boxing in 2023, adding another world championship title to her list of achievements.  <\/p>\n\n<p>As a Bambous resident, Ramini remains deeply rooted in her community, volunteering as a coach at the Bambous Martial Arts (BMA) Sports Club, where she imparts her knowledge and passion for combat sports with the next generation. Her training is also focused on instilling discipline, respect and perseverance in her young students \u2013 core sports values that she believes go beyond physical prowess. <\/p>\n\n<p>Looking ahead, Ranini hopes to have her impact extend further than Bambous, aiming to empower aspiring athletes with the culture and the techniques of martial arts in Flic-en-Flac and Bel Ombre, and eventually in various spots of the island. <\/p>\n\n<p>With a storied career marked by prestigious titles, Ranini Cundasawmy serves as a beacon of hope for young Mauritians looking to dive into the deep end of combat arts.
